The District President has copies of the “Blues for Elise” and “Black is the Color” that can be used for IMEA purposes only. If you plan to use it with your own ensemble, you should order a copy for your school, but if you have only a small number of students auditioning and would not normally use this for your school, a copy can be provided for you. There is also a CD of those tunes that can be copied. In addition, Sound Music Publications has agreed to discount the purchase cost of these tunes for any school wishing to purchase for your own use…just call them and mention IMEA District VI for the discount (as much as 50%!). For any of these items, contact Rodney Washburn, District President, at washburr@wesclin.k12.il.us
