Greetings everyone.  It is time to register your school for participation in the IMEA District activities for the next school year.  To register and participate:

• Step One – visit the IMEA website and click on “District Information”. Click on District V on the State map or scroll down to District 5.  Then click on the District number 5 (LH side of the screen).  Read the detailed instructions and when understood, click on “Step One.”  All schools, both new to the system and returning, must complete Step One, entering, updating or confirming their school information.  This step will register your school at the District Level.  Make sure you click Update when finished.

• Step Two – Print out and submit the Junior/Senior Participating School Form (and $25.00 fee) to the IMEA State Office.  This may be done online (click on Step Two) or by mail.  (I always mail mine with a check from our District)  Elementary does not submit any paperwork this year.  All registration is done “on-line”.

• Step Three – When both STEP ONE and STEP TWO are completed, the IMEA State Office will “activate” your school, giving you access to Step Three, which you will use next fall to nominate students to participate at the District V events.
