Advocate

The results of the summer 2012 ILMEA Membership survey were clear. Music Education needs advocates. In this time of education reform, program reductions and elimination of teaching positions, ILMEA is working to take the lead in education and advocacy for music and arts education in the State of Illinois. Always a work in progress, this page serves as the hub for these projects. Here you will find links to studies and articles supporting music and arts education and resources for educators to use in their personal advocacy work.
