Why would you like to run for this position?

I have been the IMEC All-State Honors Band Chairperson for 8 years, and in that time I have worked very closely with the top high school musicians in our state as well as internationally acclaimed guest conductors, some of whom include Eugene Corporon, Gary Green, Ray Cramer, etc. I have also worked very closely with many members of the ILMEA Board of Directors. My experience has enabled me to identify potential areas of improvement for ILMEA as a whole and the Band Division in particular, and I seek the opportunity to serve as a representative in a leadership capacity within ILMEA.
