The ILMEA Remix Contest marks a significant milestone by selecting an honoree from the ILMEA Student Composition Contest as the source material for remixes. "Failed Relationships" by Sophia Hamelka secured the distinguished 2nd place in the competitive Commercial Music - Singer/Songwriter Category in 2024 and will be used for the upcoming Remix Contest! Open to students spanning grades 6 through 12, the ILMEA Remix Contest challenge invites student musicians and creators to bring their own point-of-view into Hamelka's emotive composition.
